What are the dates for the festival?

Friday: 5-9pm (VIP) 6-9pm (GA)

Where is it?

On the field at GEHA Field at Arrowhead. All Parking is in Lot C & D.

How much is it?

Tickets are required to enter the Q BBQ Fest. Choose between a 3-hour and 4-hour all-you-can-eat experience with a Q Pit Pass. We no longer have a free-to-enter/pay-as-you-go option at the festival.

Kids are allowed inside the Q BBQ Fest. Children 12 & under are free to enter during any session. Children ages 13-20 can enter by purchasing a $35 Kids Ticket. Children can enter during the 4-hour or 3-hour session with a paying adult with a ticket for that session (limit 4 children per adult).

Is parking free? Where do I park?

Parking is free! Guests can park in lots C & D.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

The event will take place rain or shine! BBQ is amazing whether you're eating in the sun or under an awning. No refunds will be given out for poor weather conditions. In the event of lightning or severe weather, guests will be asked to shelter in the stadium concourse areas.

What methods of payment can be used at the festival?

We are a cashless event. Credit or Debit only. Once you enter the festival grounds, all of your food is included in your ticket (and drinks are included for all VIPs). At your discretion, you can make additional purchases for beverages, event merchandise, sauces & rubs, sponsor and vendor sales items, and more. We are a cashless event. Credit or Debit only.

Can I sample the BBQ?

Yes! Every pitmaster at the festival will be serving up multiple items (BBQ and sides) that you can sample as many times as you like during your 3-hour or 4-hour session.

What is the average price of food and drinks at the festival?

All food is FREE once you enter the festival with your 3-hour or 4-hour ticket. We are no longer offering a free-to-enter/pay-as-you-go BBQ ticket option. Drinks will be available for purchase for all GA and Kid's ticket attendees.

How late will BBQ be served during the festival?

We’ll have BBQ available for the duration of each of our four 4-hour all-you-can-eat sessions!

What are the differences between the 3-hour and 4-hour pass?

With a 4-hour VIP Pass, you avoid the lines and can spend 4 hours alongside your favorite Pitmasters enjoying all you can eat BBQ, premium VIP-only BBQ samples, signature cocktails, beer, and soft drinks, and exclusive VIP-only access to the Chiefs locker room! With a 3-hour pass, you will enjoy unlimited BBQ and will be able to purchase drinks at any of our event bars.

What food will the pitmasters be serving during the festival?

Are the cooking demos at the festival free to attend?

Yes, all demos are free to attend. Please visit our Demos Page for more information.

Will the Chiefs Pro Shop be open during the festival?

Yes, the Chiefs Pro Shop will be open during the festival.

Will taxi/rideshare services have access into the parking lot for the event?

Yes, all taxi/rideshare services will be able to access parking lots for the event. Please have your rideshare company drop you off outside of Lot D.

What items are prohibited at the festival?

• Outside food and beverage

• Glass, metal, plastic thermos, cups, bottles or flasks. Alcohol that is not purchased at the festival is grounds for immediate ejection from the event without a refund

• Fireworks, lasers, flammable liquids, or weapons of any kind Noisemakers, such as whistles or air horns, and Boom Boxes

• Video cameras or pro cameras

• Laser pointers

• Portable heaters

• Floor mats

• Seat cushions with pockets

• Coolers

• Sports balls (Footballs, Frisbees, lacrosse balls, inflatable balls, etc.)

• Dry batteries and battery packs exceeding 6"x3"x1.5"

• Clear bags are recommended, but not required. All items subject to search.

• Large umbrellas with metal tips. Small, compact umbrellas without metal tips are allowed.

• Fanny Packs, small book bags, and strollers are permitted with inspection

• One sealed water bottle and/or an empty plastic, refillable water bottle are permitted

*• Strollers and wagons are permitted but are discouraged. They are subject to search on entry.**

Are the VIP and GA Pit Passes date-specific, or can they be used any of the three days?

Yes, all tickets are date-specific to make sure there is enough BBQ to go around and to ensure you have a comfortable and rewarding experience inside the festival. You can choose one of three sessions available throughout the weekend when you purchase your VIP or GA Pit Pass.
